In NZUWI, Convention and Exhibition Economy and Management plus the Media and Creative Technologies Specialty of UW aims to train students to become applied interdisciplinary talents with high qualities who master methods for exhibition planning and marketing and can skilfully make use of media creative design technologies. Students will systematically master basic knowledge and professional skills for exhibition marketing, boast good media creative design abilities, grasp the technical characteristics of exhibition and event marketing in new media environment, becoming versatile senior talents in international exhibition industry who can skilfully apply media design technologies and conduct online and offline integrated communication.

There is a particular emphasis on online media and visual culture to keep up with the fast-paced culture of the 21st century.
